Tom Parsons grew up in Madison, WI, and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Tom began his professional career in Tampa, Florida, where he worked as an assistant professional for Club Corporations of America management company at the Tom Fazio-designed Hunter’s Green Country Club. Once he earned his PGA card, he became the Head Golf Professional there, a club that, at the time, was a top 25-ranked course in the state of Florida. After eight years at Hunter’s Green, Tom went to work at Holly Tree Country Club, a Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin design in Tyler, Texas, a course ranked in the Top 25 of private clubs in the state.

The lure of the Golf Capital of the United States brought Tom to Pinehurst, NC, where he was the Director of Golf for 19 years at a Jack Nicklaus signature course, National Golf Club. When the famed Pinehurst Resort purchased the club, they renamed it Pinehurst No. 9.

Tom has taught over 5,000 lessons to players of all abilities, including Tour professionals, collegiate players, grandmothers, and juniors. Golf instruction is Tom’s first love in the golf business, and he welcomes all who would like to enjoy the game more.
